The following products are present in this complete bottom set for bottle gardens:

• Special soil composition 5 liters
• Hydro granules 5 liters
• Activated carbon 200 grams
• Sealing cork 45/37 mm

For bottle gardens (closed ecosystems) you need special soil composition. For example, special additives are added to prevent the growth of fungi, to keep the soil airy and the right nutrients have been added to the soil for tropical plants.

In addition to the correct soil composition, you also need hydro granules at the bottom of the bottle/pot. These hydro granules ensure that the excess water does not cause the plants to rot.

You also need activated carbon that filters the water that condenses for germs in a small layer between the hydro granules and potting soil.

To seal the fermentation bottle, there is also a cork in this set that fits the bottle sizes described below.

The 45/37mm cork fits:

• 5 liters (the cork needs to be trimmed for this)
