5 Liter hydro granules

Description

A suitable soil for the bottle garden consists of Hydro granules, activated carbon and potting soil. With this 5 liter bag of hydro granules you have enough for a 54 liter Ferrarium or smaller. Per liter of hydro granules you need about 50 grams of activated carbon.

See below how many hydro granules you need per fermentation bottle size:

• 0,75 Liter = 5 liter fermentation bottle
• 1,25 Liter = 10 liter fermentation bottle
• 1,75 Liter = 15 liter fermentation bottle
• 2.5 litres = 20 litres fermentation bottle
• 3 Litres = 25 litres fermentation bottle
• 3.5 litres = 34 litres fermentation bottle
• 4 litres = 54 litres fermentation bottle

To make the bottle bottom, put about 3-4 cm of hydro granules on the bottom of the bottle. After this, you need about 7-10 cm of potting soil for the bottle garden, mix the activated carbon into the potting soil with a ratio of about 50 grams per liter of hydro granules.
