Control ants effectively and biologically

Ants are a common insect and there is no need to kill them immediately. However, if you have a lot of nuisance and want to get rid of the ants, you can use Ferrarium nematodes. These nematodes control the larvae in ant nests, causing the adult ants to flee.

To use Ferrarium nematodes, it is important to know how much and when to use the nematodes. The amount you need depends on the size of the ant nest. In general, a dosage of 24 million nematodes per 24 square meters is sufficient.

The best time to apply Ferrarium nematodes is in spring, when soil temperatures are above 10 degrees Celsius. This is usually between March and October. It is important to keep the soil moist for best results.

When using Ferrarium nematodes, mix the nematodes with water about 1 liter and apply the mixture to the ant nest. It is important to distribute the mixture evenly and treat the nest well. It may take several treatments to completely control ants.

Note: Ferrarium nematodes are not harmful to humans, pets and other animals.

How to use:

• Mix the nematodes with water and pour it directly into the nest.
• You should then keep this moist for 2 weeks.
• Do you have ants in your lawn, border or vegetable garden? Then you should treat the total area, in all places where the ant hills are present.
• Opening up the ant hills beforehand helps the nematodes penetrate deeper.
• Before administering the nematodes, mow the grass short and, if necessary, scarify first. There should be no bark, or extra layer on top of the grass, otherwise the nematodes cannot penetrate properly. You mix the nematodes in water, and dilute it as needed, this mixture should be applied immediately and should not be left to stand.
• After that you have used the application, rinse with clean water so that the nematodes get well into the soil and do not dry up on the blades of grass.
• You need to keep the soil moist for at least 2 weeks.

The nematodes can be applied as soon as the soil temperature is at least 10°C for 2 weeks.

Please note that you cannot return this product. This is because it is a “live” product, which therefore has a very limited shelf life. Therefore, buy the product only when you really need it, and then use it within two weeks of purchase.
